General Hospital will soon add another member to the extended family. Lisa Locicero (Olivia Falconeri, GH) has announced she is expecting her second child. She and her husband already have a son named Lukas, who was born in 2001.
On November 19, Locicero tweeted a link to an ABC.com video featuring the General Hospital cast. The video featured actors sharing what they were thankful for this holiday season. Locicero said, "This holiday, I am grateful for health and abundance and number two on the way." She then turned to the side and rubbed her belly to show off her baby bump.
Not long after sharing the video, she posted another message to Twitter expressing her gratitude to all her followers for their well-wishes on her pregnancy, saying, "Wow! Thank you all for the wonderful wishes! My twitter just got blew up quicker than my waistline...! Love you guys..."
The new baby should have plenty of little ones to play with on set. Co-stars Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones, GH; ex-Belle Black, Days of our Lives) and Teresa Castillo (Sabrina Santiago, GH) both welcomed new babies this year.
Co-star Michelle Stafford (Nina Clay, GH; ex-Phyllis Summers and ex-Sheila Carter, The Young and the Restless) expressed her excitement for Locicero, saying, "Congrats to my beautiful friend @lisalocicerogh on her pregnancy of her second baby!!! SOOO excited for you sis!!!"
Locicero replied with "@TheRealStafford XXXOOO! I'll need all your advice on girl things....!!"
Locicero has refused to comment on whether her pregnancy will be written into the show or, if not, what tricks the writers might have up their sleeves to explain the time away she'll have to take when the baby is born. She insists she doesn't want to spoil the surprise. Viewers will just have to wait and see if Olivia discovers a pregnancy anytime soon.
